I have known people like that, though. Maybe not as straightforward in their awfulness as Inari, but... people who would betray anyone, even those closest to them. People who only care about their own desires. I am so familiar with them, and yet I couldn't see it right under my nose.

Perhaps I've been acting so soft that I even managed to trick myself.

I have also known the worst of the worst and they are those I could trust with my life. And I have known the kindest of people who has backstabbed those that they loved the most. You cannot just a person's loyalty based on their personality alone.

You did what you were suppose to do as a leader. You trusted those on your team- no, your whole team did. Listen to me, as someone who has dedicated their entire being, soul, and life to his team at home.

Do not take the blame for the traitor who deceived you. None of you did anything wrong. You simply take their heads and stick it on a pike as a warning to those who try to deceive you again.
